Sokia

Sokia is a new type of venetian blind, which also works inversely, bringing light into darkness. Light can be used as an atmosphere lamp, to improve one’s mood or as a wake-up light in dark seasons. During a light season, it works like a regular blind, but also charges its battery with its solar panel.


Mitro Välitalo

Mitro Välitalo is a student of industrial design who has just returned to Kuopio after his exchange studies. He is mainly interested in technology, which he uses as a source of ideas and inspiration for his work. He is also a trained artisan in scale modeling and interested and skilled in various DIY projects as well as developing as a designer.
